The WE Suite
Welcome to the WE Suite - the WE tv’s biggest, most exclusive and comprehensive sales partnership offering ever. I developed this to showcase and extend a sponsors message “beyond the buy” by including partners everywhere the original show brand went. With a limited amount of original programming featured on both Thursday and Friday nights, this opportunity drove attention to the shows while offering partners new and innovative ways to highlight and promote their brand. From national advertising to social, events and publicity, and more, national ad sales was able to offer additional “promotional impressions” back to the sponsor, which led to even greater year over year partner engagement.
We launched in 2015 with the Friday night original "David Tutera Celebrations” and drove over $5.2 million dollars in the Upfront, of which $3.3 million was new money. A year later, we made the WE Suite even bigger by successfully adding Thursday night originals to the WE Suite, featuring the series LA Hair, dipping into another pot of media money.
Promotionally, we developed a supporting campaign for the WE Suite on Captivate, targeting agencies with an aggressive schedule during key upfront timing. As well, we did both an internal and external custom mailer campaign, featuring collateral reinforcing the opportunity and some “sweetness” - Jacques Torres chocolates.
To date, the WE Suite has made over $30 million dollars, and continues to be the most successful sales platform in the network’s history.
